For the launch of On Cloutdtilt, we had the pleasure of meeting Mary Ghenei, a Rome-based electronic music DJ, for a conversation about her relationship with music, the challenges of the industry, and her role as a source of inspiration.

Mary is more than just a DJ—she’s a voice breaking barriers. Being a woman of color in a still heavily male-dominated industry is a challenge, but for her, it’s also an opportunity. Her mission goes beyond the DJ booth: she wants to inspire other women to follow their passion, to express themselves without fear, and to believe that music has no boundaries, no labels—only passion.

"Music has no gender, only passion," she told us during our interview. And it is precisely this passion that drives her in every set, every track she selects, and every beat that makes the dancefloor come alive.

On Cloutdtilt was born with the same philosophy: to create a space where expression is free, where talent and authenticity are the only true tickets in.
