Reebok x Bape Instapump Fury & Club C 85

For its latest collaboration Reebok has once again teamed up with BAPE for a decidedly iconic capsule. As per tradition, the two have chosen Instapump Fury adding to the Club C 85 "bapesta" version. The relationship between these two brands is long-standing and over the years they have launched a slew of models such as Ventilator, Club C, Instapump and Question Mid on the market. Let's retrace its history together:

20 AUGUST 2014

2014 is a big year for Instapump Fury Reebok is celebrating the shoe's 20th anniversary, and among the many A Bathing Ape and Mita Sneakers are participating in the celebration with their collaborative interpretation of the iconic model. As you might expect, this Fury features A Bathing Ape's signature camouflage printed on the inflatable cage that covers the upper. Underneath is a black mesh base with green suede accents, tan loops on the tongue and heel, and an embroidered white star on the heel. Complete the look with a white midsole, which features a camouflage pattern on the heel and an olive green insert with exposed Hexalite cushioning. To indicate who is responsible, the Bapesta logo is printed on the heel while Mita receives a detachable label.

28 AUGUST 2015

The Aape by A Bathing Ape x Reebok Ventilator joins the long list of collaborations on this 25th anniversary of the silhouette. The AAPE line of the Japanese brand BAPE has teamed up again with Reebok after the successful project on Insta Pump Fury OG. This edition of the Ventilator is highlighted in a combination of black mesh and woodland camouflage overlays. Includes a full camouflage effect on the upper. It is a typical style of the brand, made even more recognizable by the white branding on the heel and the small figures on the ankle. There are reflective panels on the sides which catch the light in dark environments. The look is finished with co-branded insoles and a pair of black laces.

28 SEPTEMBER 2015

2015 is also the year of another Aape by A Bathing Ape x Reebok collaboration which rivisits another great classic of the footwear brand. This time the legendary Japanese brand has chosen the design of the legendary Pump Omni Lite to propose once again its traditional Bape Camo in gray & black version, also adding a patent leather profile, double set of laces, one of which glow-in-the -dark and oversized logo on the heel.

30 JANUARY 2016

The long-awaited collaboration between Bape, Mita Sneakers and Reebok returns in 2016, with an exclusive model of Reebok Ventilator. The shoe features BAPE's iconic camouflage print, with touches of bright red and royal blue for a bold and on-trend sneaker. Soft white nylon bottom layers and bright white laces create a fresh base against the premium suede and camouflage overlays, allowing this on-trend pattern to take center stage. A unique spotted print is featured on the midsole for another eye-catching detail while branding boldly finishes the look.

15 OCTOBER 2016

The three-way collaboration between Bape, Mita & Reebok strikes again and this time with a new colorway from the smash hit of 2014. The sneakers feature a leather and neoprene upper with a black and white City Camo pattern, luminescent highlights with a black Instapump button on the tongue. It also comes with a glow-in-the-dark BAPE tag and BAPE branding embroidered on the heel and inner lining.

23 DECEMBER 2016

The celebration continues as BAPE joins Reebok to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Question Mid silhouette. Following the BAPE x mita x Reebok Instapump Fury collaboration, this BAPE x Reebok Question Mid release involves artists likes of "Curtain Call", "Ice Cold" and "Dress Code". Originally meant to be a two-way collaboration between BAPE and Reebok, Mita sneakers emerged as the third member of this battalion. Iverson's special OG silhouette makeup features a ballistic nylon upper printed with BAPE's signature 1st Camo print, with alternating panels of camouflage and olive green nylon with contrasting white piping on the edges, a large branding and insoles with three marks.

12 FEBRUARY 2020

We have to wait another 4 years and the birth of Bape Black to review the two brands working together. But what is Bape Black? Born in 2018 and exploded in September 2019, Bape Black is the division of the Nigo brand dedicated to a luxurious and elegant streetwear style. Featuring total black sweatshirts and garments, leather jackets and military parkas, this exclusive line embodies urban style from a whole new point of view. And it is precisely in the luxurious setting of Bape Black that we find the new collaborative capsule collection Bape Black x Reebok. The collection will feature two of Reebok's iconic sneakers, the Aztec 96 and the Elettrolyte, both available in two different versions: off-white with black details and black with white details. Both models are made of fabric and suede and have clear references to the logos of the Bape Sta sneakers positioned on the heel in the Aztec 96 and on the back in the Electrolyte.

19 DECEMBER 2020

In 2020 the Reebok Club C celebrates its 35th anniversary and it is no coincidence that it is also the 20th of the BAPE STA. The two brands meet again on Reebok's tennis shoe turned all-rounder, with the distinct BAPE STA logo sewn on the lateral and medial sides of the Club C. Each STA is covered in a different iteration of the BAPE camo, using shades of green, purple, red and blue. The insoles are covered in the yellow "1st Camo" print and co-branded elements complete the collaboration that includes the BAPE monkey head logo on the tongue and a BAPE charm on the heel tab, which flows deftly into a Reebok Vector logo with a "tail" STA. 200 exclusive pairs coming out at BAPE Miami on December 19th, along with a matching t-shirt, plus a free tote bag after purchasing the Club C.

21 JANUARY 2022

As with previous collaborative efforts with BAPE, Reebok this year blended its foundation and legacy of the footwear name with the distinctive graphics and design sensibility of the Japanese brand.

Leading the SS22 footwear collaboration is the BAPE x Instapump Fury which features a unique combination of BAPE® CAMO. The mix of COLOR CAMO and 1ST CAMO prints found on the shoe upper is accentuated by the APE HEAD motifs emblazoned on the silhouette's "Pump" buttons. While the Club C 85 version features clean white leather uppers with contrasting red and blue stitching. Aside from the usual Reebok branding, the "BAPE STA" markings are found on the tongues and heels.
