adidas Consortium x Livestock

by SUEDE store on September 24, 2018

adidas Consortium has teamed up with Livestock for a Fall/Winter 2018 collaborative release, working closely with the Canadian sneaker retailer on a pair of winter-ready silhouettes with premium materials and elevated technical elements.

Taking a forward-thinking approach to classic outdoor running footwear design, the release presents elevated iterations of the Oregon Ultra Tech and Terrex Skychaser silhouettes, combining each shoe's natural trail and rough terrain aesthetic with a number of utilitarian upgrades.

First up, the Oregon Ultra Tech model steps out sees the classic ‘90s running silhouette combining a classic synthetic nubuck construction with a full Gore-Tex® lining to offer a waterproof, breathable runner. Translucent TPU overlays and a practical speed-lacing system with toggle-adjustment add support and structure to the shoe, while the shoe’s classic EVA midsole with dellinger web overlays completes the picture. The shoe is then rendered in a Bold Gold/Black/White colorway, creating an unmissable retro sneaker in a distinctly progressive mode.

Next, the heavy duty Terrex Skychaser model receives a number of stylistic updates to reinvent the rugged trail runner. A combination of vintage suedes and nylon textiles form the upper, complemented by Gore-Tex® lining as well as dellinger-web print patterns on the shoe’s mudguard panels. Rope laces blend with the shoe’s integrated 3-stripe mark lacing system to provide consistent comfort and fit, finished with a premium leather lining and placed atop a combination EVA and Boost™ midsole with a rugged trail outsole.

Presented in a Stone/Core Black/Grey Five colorway, the shoe offers a classic trail running aesthetic with subtle stylistic elevations.
