For Fall/Winter 2017, adidas Day One reinvents apparel and footwear for outdoor, a category that the German sportswear innovator has lead for decades. Designed entirely in a minimal palette of black, gray, and ecru, the collection naturally blends into a wearer’s daily repertoire.
This season’s range elevates the outdoor category to new heights. Outerwear is essential to any adventure, and the collection delivers multiple must-have options. The Lightweight Jacket features just enough filling to fend off a chill while remaining streamlined and perfectly layer-able. Featuring zip-off removable sleeves and super-size front-zip kangaroo pockets, this piece is an icon of modularity and utility. The Down Jacket suits every occasion—from city to country and back again—and features a duck-down/feather filling and fleece-lined kangaroo pocket. The triple-layer 3L Jacket delivers the perfect winter parka, complete with fishtail hem, stone jacquard print, touch-sensitive iPhone arm pocket, and three-stripe back print.
Footwear utilizes new adidas innovations for hardworking boots and sneakers able to traverse any terrain. Winter is no match for the Ado Ultimate Boot with its Primaloft insulation, Climaproof membrane, and wide, elasticated waterproof strap. The trail-ready Ado Terrex Agravic utilizes a Continental rubber lug sole for maximum grip and Cordura nylon uppers for hardcore wear. Finally, the stylishly tailored Ado Crazy Train pairs a lightweight synthetic mesh upper with clear gum rubber outsole for a cool, tone-on-tone look.
