adidas announces the drop of an unreleased, special edition UltraBOOST LUX silhouette. The style will be available exclusively through the Consortium network and pays tribute to the collaborative spirit of the Sneaker Exchange 2017.
Early during this project, Swedish retailer Sneakersnstuff was partnered with America’s Social Status to work on a pack including the UltraBOOST. While the duo took time developing their “monochrome luxury” concept, the idea for a similar UltraBOOST as a stand-alone release took shape. adidas Consortium is proud to finally unveil this new model.
The UltraBOOST LUX sees the model thoroughly refined in a premium execution. The Primeknit upper is understated and soft, while leather upholstery creates a luxurious and comfortable interior. Its synthetic suede overlays and dark sand-colored cage provide harmonious accents and combine with the light upper to create a subtle sneaker, filled with low-key detailing.
The only untouched element is the BOOST™ sole, designed for comfort, support and stability – requirements, which are universal whether it is a casual execution or, as in this case, the luxury variant.
This model demonstrates what the UltraBOOST has become. adidas Consortium artfully adapts the silhouette's more technical aspects and through meticulous composition and carefully selected materials presents the model in a new light.
