This week, adidas Originals presents the latest iteration of its two new P.O.D-S3.1 silhouettes, placing the shoe’s bold and futuristic design front and center with a dynamic new color treatment.
The latest release stays true to the P.O.D-S3.1’s original blueprint, featuring an adaptive knitted textile upper with structural overlays around the toebox and heel. This is then rendered in a clean, white colorway. The second colorway is held in clean black with pops of contrast pink, blue, teal and red on the vamp, collar and heel, finished with an adidas-branded heel tab and essential branding details on the tongue.
For the sole, the P.O.D-S3.1’s eponymous Point of Deflection System split midsole returns in full, featuring supportive EVA rubber in the forefoot and Boost™ in the heel, finished with a durable rubber outsole. The result is a release that couples the fearless design of the P.O.D-S3.1 with an equally fearless colorway, encapsulating the shoe’s spirit of forward-thinking footwear design in both form and function.
