adidas Originals and East Coast sneaker boutique Packer Shoes team up on a special collaborative release this month, blending a classic Fall color palette with the signature colors of the EQT range to create a seasonal update to the EQT 91/18 silhouette.
Using the EQT 91/18 model’s blend of classic Equipment design and contemporary perspectives as its canvas, the release takes inspirati on form the lesser-known 1993 EQT Adventure line to inform the release. The shoe's upper combines a number of materials including a wool-blend Primeknit vamp, hairy suede quarter and breathable mesh elements, structured by the 3-stripe marks TPU cage that defines many of the EQT series most iconic models.
A molded heel cage adds support to the upper, finished with a premium leather lining and rope laces. This is then finished with a black Boost™ midsole, accented by essential overrun 3-stripe marks branding, and a durable rubber outsole. Rendered in a tricolor Core Black/Sub Green/Blanch Cargo colorway, the result is a striking release that places the unwaveringly futuristic aesthetic of the EQT 91/18 silhouette in a softer, outdoors-appropriate mode.
