Inspired by the off-key and unpredictable world of early-stage prototypes and sneaker samples, the adidas Consortium UltraBOOST Midproto features a number of asymmetric features across each shoe in keeping with the spirit of embracing oddity.
Each shoe features a full Primeknit™ upper in Neon Yellow as its base with premium suede overlays and contrast details. The shoe’s sock-fit design is reinforced by an extra-thick collar and the signature TPU heel stabilizer unit of the original UltraBOOST 1.0, finished with a minimalist lacing system, Consortium suede tongue tab, and a woven herringbone heelpull.
In keeping with the shoe’s prototypical inspirations, each shoe features a different colorway; for the left shoe, the Neon Yellow base is countered with Collegiate Navy suede overlays and printed white 3-stripes marks; the right foot then features Grey suede overlays with navy leather 3-stripes marks.
