Puma And Diamond Supply Co. Spring-Summer ‘18

This Spring-Summer ’18 PUMA sees PUMA and world-famous skate brand Diamond Supply Inc. teaming up once again to launch a collection of sneakers, apparel and accessories. When sneaker and skate fans thought 2016 was the last time they would see the Cat and Diamond together, they didn’t realize it was merely a tease for this milestone collaboration.

Founded by Nicholas Tershay, a.k.a. Nick Diamond, out of his San Francisco bedroom, Diamond Supply Co. kick started in 1998 as a skateboard hardware store. The brand has grown rapidly over the last two decades, now widely recognized as one of the biggest, most authentic skate and streetwear brands in the industry today.

The all-new PUMA x DIAMOND SUPPLY CO. collection reflects a shared passion for sport and is brought to life through simplicity of design and attention to detail. In their debut collaboration with PUMA, Diamond Supply Co. brings their unique aesthetic and skateboarding credibility to PUMA streetwear, with unique designs and those sigature Diamond colors.

The collection is set to release in two distinguished drops with the first launching in late January. Drawing inspiration from archive skate, the first drop was developed by the designers as though they collaborated back in the 70s and 80s. Using the PUMA Archive, the collaboration boasts authentic materials, textures, colors and over-all designs - even bringing back a refreshed take on the iconic Archive PUMA Teamsport global graphic on key apparel pieces. Hero styles of the first drop include iconic court classics, the PUMA Suede and Clyde, remixed with Diamond Supply Co.’s iconic DNA and colors. The archive sneakers are complimented with apparel and accessories including the bold color-blocked Wind Jacket and Tees with graphics from the PUMA archive.

The second drop takes the collaboration back to the future with progressive materials, silhouettes and styling. With no nylon in sight, instead using progressive knits, woven Jacquard and mesh materials matched with a more progressive, street look, the second drop envisions the future of skate and streetwear. Key styles from the second drop include evolution versions of drop one’s iconic court silhouettes, including the Clyde Sock Lo and all-new slip-on, zip-up Abyss. Complimentary apparel includes street ready, ultra-comfortable tees, track tops and pants.
